Anuja Shah is a physician in Internal Medicine who practiced in Long Island and retired in 2020 to focus on a life of spiritual practice and service. Being born in a Jain family where both her parents were open-minded, she grew up in an atmosphere of acceptance and love. Additionally, after arriving in this country from India at the age of 5, most of her early childhood friends were of various nationalities, including her closest friend who was from Africa . She currently oversees and serves as one of the facilitators for Spiritual Touch classes for youth in Grades 8-11 where value based education is imparted and fosters an outlook of harmony and respect for all faiths. These classes fall under the umbrella of Shrimad Rajchandra DivineTouch (SRD). For many years she has been very active with the various ongoing initiatives of the global non-profit Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care- USA (SRLC USA) which has given her a valuable platform to offer service and interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
